Alastair Campbell
Alastair was instrumental in the creation of what came to be known as New Labour. Sometimes controversial but always insightful, he is a communicator, writer and strategist.

In his time in Downing Street he was involved in all the major policy issues, and in July 2007 published his first book on his time with Tony Blair, which was an instant Sunday Times Number 1 bestseller.

As Brand Director, Stuart is responsible for the strategic direction of the business and the service offering as a whole. Since joining in 2007 he has capitalised on Automotive Leasing's 20 years in the public sector market to develop a true 'one-stop' shop for public sector fleets. This has resulted in a unique market position which sees Automotive Leasing as the only supplier that is framework enabled to supply both cars and commercials on vehicle hire and vehicle lease, combined with being framework enabled for both fleet management and consultancy services.

Rob Cooksley: Category Lead - Fleet Services, Buying Solutions
After spending 14 years working within the fleet industry, in January 2009 Rob joined the public sector and began to use his extensive knowledge and understanding of the market to deliver significant savings for the tax payer. This is being achieved through leading the collaborative fleet procurement activities of Buying Solutions, the national procurement partner for UK public services.

Pete Gleeson: MCIPS, HMRC
Pete is the Category Lead for Travel and Transport within HM Revenue & Customs. Having worked in taxation and management roles, he moved into a commercial post in fleet where he led the overhaul of HMRC's ACS scheme. After taking the lead for Travel and Transport he is now responsible for Travel contracts of £34m and a fleet of over 2000 vehicles. Pete is passionate about driving value while finding ways to reduce environmental impact from all forms of travel.

Michael Appleby: Partner, Housemans
Michael is recognised as a leading Health and Safety lawyer. He acts for companies and individuals in relation to fatalities and serious injuries resulting from work-related incidents. This includes defending manslaughter and HSE prosecutions, inquests, inquiries and judicial review.

Tom Hall: Partner, Government, Defence and Homeland Security, Atos Origin
Tom is a Partner with Atos Consulting with responsibility for the management and development of its Government, Defence and Homeland Security accounts. Tom has recently taken on responsibility for Atos Consulting support of front and back office development across Government with key sub accounts in DWP, MOJ, Home Office and Defra. He has spent over 12 years in consulting initially with KPMG and then with Atos Consulting, delivering high value programmes across public and private sectors with a particular focus on strategic buyer-supplier relationships.

Terry Brightmore: Commercial Director, Elektromotive Limited
Elektromotive is the leading UK provider of recharging stations for electric vehicles. The company's main product is the Elektrobay, which can be installed at the kerbside, multi-storey car parks commercial premises or at home. Elektromotive works with governments and local authorities to provide Elektrobays and engineering consultancy services to help accelerate a shift towards emissions-free motoring. The simple-to-operate Elektrobay was first introduced in London, in 2006, and the company have subsequently successfully deployed charging points across the country from Glasgow to Brighton and were recently awarded the largest contract to date to deploy 600 charging points in the North East of England as part of the government's Plugged-in Places initiative.

James Russell: Executive Director, Sector Treasury Services Limited
James heads up the Advisory Services Division of Sector, the leading treasury management and asset finance advisor for the Public Sector. He was also a founding director of The Procurement Partnership Ltd which now works with almost 300 public sector and 'not-for-profit' organisations to reduce their vehicle procurement costs. James has worked as an advisor to the public sector for over 15 years. He firmly believes that in the difficult economic conditions that lie ahead, the private sector has a huge role to play in helping the Public Sector reduce costs.

Steve Merrett: Cambridgeshrie County Council
Steve has been instrumental in developing Cambridgeshire County Council's Driving at Work Policy. Their fleet is now predominantly "grey" and thus presents a multitude of challenges to both the employer and employee. He was also instrumental in developing a resource to help organisations develop better driving at work policies. Cambridgeshire County Council is a "Driving for Better Business" business champion.
