This document is designed to help you understand which vehicles are affected, how your drivers could be affected and what you should do in the event of any queries.
Toyota
There is currently a recall being planned on a number of vehicles affected by problems with the accelerator pedal. This recall is confined to the following vehicle and time periods:
AYGO (Feb 2005 – Aug 2009) >br>
iQ (Nov 2008 – Nov 2009)
Yaris (Nov 2005 – Sep 2009)
Auris (Oct 2006 – 5 Jan 2010)
Corolla (Oct 2006 – Dec 2009)
Verso (Feb 2009 – 5 Jan 2010)
Avensis (Nov 2008 – Dec 2009)
RAV4 (Nov 2005 – Nov 2009)
Please note - not all vehicles in this date range will be recalled. Once Toyota has identified the vehicles affected they will apply to the DVLA, via the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA), to obtain the name and address data of the vehicle owners. Toyota will then write to them with instructions.

In addition to the recent Toyota recalls we have also received notification from Peugeot, Citroen and Honda about smaller scale recalls being undertaken.
A very small number of the following models have been affected by an "accelerator pedal mechanism failure".
Peugeot 107 - (05 - 09)
Citroen C1 - (Petrol models only fitted with Electronic Stability Programme)
A small number of the following vehicles have a separate problem with electric windows when exposed to a large amount of liquid.
Honda Jazz - (02 - 08)
All three companies will shortly be issuing safety recall notes to LeasePlan Group for all vehicles affected. Once we have this information our process for issuing recalls will begin and customers will be contacted by post to inform them that they need their vehicle to be serviced and what they need to do for this to happen.
